So you have had  a look around and you think you might like to give it a go ... great!  The first thing to remember is NEVER DIVE ALONE.  Freediving is safer than bowling but if you don’t follow the rules of common sense, and learn the safety techniques involved, then you dive at your peril.

It is very important to learn how to hold your breath from people who can show you how to do this safely and within your limits.  Also, it is not always about going deep or staying a long time, but merely getting in the water with family and friends and enjoying the social aspect of the activity.
